The Tun Abdul Razak Awards are the Foundation’s most prestigious recognition, established to honour exceptional leaders, individuals, and organizations whose work and service embody the objectives of the Tun Razak Foundation. These awards celebrate those who have made significant and impactful contributions to improving the living standards of their communities and the nation at large.

To ensure the highest standards of integrity and prestige, the selection of recipients is governed by the stringent criteria outlined in the Tun Razak Foundation Award Regulation 1979.

The Tun Razak International Award

The Tun Razak International Award

This esteemed award honours a global leader who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and service in promoting peace, understanding, and development among nations. It recognises individuals whose work on the international stage reflects the vision and compassionate leadership of Tun Abdul Razak.

The Tun Razak National Award

This award is presented to a Malaysian citizen who has shown exemplary leadership and made profound contributions to the nation. It celebrates individuals who have dedicated their lives to service, upholding the values of national unity, progress, and integrity that Tun Razak championed.

The Tun Razak Award to Organisations

This award recognises an organisation be it from the public, private, or non-profit sector that has implemented impactful and sustainable programmes to uplift the community. It celebrates institutional efforts that have demonstrably improved the social and economic well-being of the people, in line with the Foundation’s core objectives.

Best Student Award for UKM & UiTM

Established in 1995, this annual award commends the most outstanding students at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in a discipline determined by their respective Senates.

This award serves as a lasting tribute to Tun Abdul Razak’s legacy as the first Chancellor of UKM and the founder of UiTM. Each recipient receives a gold-coated medal embossed with the likeness of Tun Abdul Razak, a certificate, and a monetary grant.
